Draft for lawyer review, not legal advice. This text was prepared on 3 October 2026 for review by Jordanian counsel. It is not final and must not be relied on. Items in [square brackets] are still to be completed. It will be replaced by the approved Arabic and English versions.

The short version

This summary is part of the terms and is there so that the points that matter most are seen first.

  • Layali lists events and sells tickets for organizers. We do not organise, host, staff, secure or supervise events. The organizer named on each event does.
  • When you buy a ticket, your contract for admission is with the organizer. We sell the ticket in the organizer's name as its agent, take the payment and deliver the ticket. That part is our job and we answer for it.
  • You must be 18 or older. Events also have their own minimum age and entry rules, set by the organizer and by law.
  • You are responsible for yourself at events: for your conduct, your consumption, your belongings and how you get home.
  • Some listings are written by us from public information and marked "Listed by Layali". We do our best, but check the official source before you travel.
  • Refunds: you get your money back if an event is cancelled; not for a change of mind. The details are in the Ticket Purchase Terms and Refund Policy.
  • Nothing here takes away rights you have under Jordanian law.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

1.1 Layali (ليالي) is operated by [Company legal name], a [limited liability company] registered in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under national establishment number [registration number], with its registered address at [address] ("Layali", "we", "us"). Contact: support@getlayali.com, [support phone or WhatsApp].

1.2 These Terms of Use apply to the Layali mobile application, the website at getlayali.com and any related service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, or by using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.3 Other documents form part of your agreement with us where they apply: the Ticket Purchase Terms and Refund Policy when you buy or hold a ticket; the Privacy Policy; the Community and Content Guidelines. Organizers, their staff and artists accept additional terms.

1.4 In these terms: an "Organizer" is the person or company named on an event page as running that event; an "Event" is a dated happening listed on the Service; a "Ticket" is a right of admission to an Event issued through the Service; a "Listing" is an Event page.

2. What Layali does, and what it does not do

2.1 A listing platform. Layali publishes Listings so that people can find Events in Jordan. Listings are of three kinds, and each Event page shows which kind it is:

  • Tickets on Layali. The Organizer has appointed us to sell Tickets to its Event.
  • Organizer listing. The Organizer publishes the Listing; tickets, if any, are sold elsewhere or at the door. We do not sell them and are not a party to that sale.
  • Listed by Layali. We wrote the Listing from publicly available information. The Organizer has not confirmed it and we do not sell tickets to it. Clause 6.3 applies.

2.2 A ticketing agent. Where an Event shows "Tickets on Layali", we act as the Organizer's agent: we offer and sell Tickets in the name and on behalf of the Organizer, collect the price, issue the Ticket to your account and provide the means to check it at the door. The contract for admission to the Event is between you and the Organizer. Our own obligations to you are those of the ticketing service: taking your order and payment correctly, delivering a valid Ticket, handling refunds under the Refund Policy, protecting your data and answering your support requests.

2.3 Not the organizer. We do not organise, produce, host, manage, staff, secure, license, insure or supervise any Event. We do not own or operate venues. We do not sell or serve food, alcohol or any other product at Events. We do not select, employ or direct door staff, security staff, bar staff or performers. These are the Organizer's and the venue's responsibilities.

2.4 What "verified" means. A verified mark on an Organizer's page means that we checked identity and registration documents the Organizer gave us before allowing it to sell Tickets. It is not a statement about the safety, quality, legality or licensing of any Event, and it is not a guarantee.

2.5 Review of listings. We review Listings from new Organizers before they are published and we may remove or correct any Listing. Reviewing a Listing does not make us its author and is not an endorsement of the Event.

3. Who can use Layali

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. By creating an account you confirm that the date of birth you give is true.

3.2 Events may carry a higher minimum age or other entry conditions set by the Organizer or by law. Under Jordanian law persons under 18 may not enter nightclubs or bars or be sold alcohol or tobacco. You may be asked for official identification at the door.

3.3 If we have reason to believe an account belongs to a person under 18 or that a date of birth is false, we may suspend the account and cancel Tickets. Clause 8 of the Ticket Purchase Terms deals with any refund.

4. Your account

4.1 You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code, or another method we offer. One person, one account. Keep access to your phone and your codes to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account unless you tell us it has been compromised.

4.2 Give us accurate information and keep it current: your name as it appears on your ID, your date of birth, your number.

4.3 Tell us at once at support@getlayali.com if you lose control of your number or suspect unauthorised use.

4.4 You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, Delete account) or at https://getlayali.com/account/delete. The Privacy Policy explains what is erased, what is kept and what you lose, including unused Tickets and credits.

5. Using Layali properly

5.1 You agree not to:

  • give false information, impersonate anyone, or open more than one account;
  • buy Tickets in order to resell them for profit, or use bots or automated tools to buy or hold Tickets;
  • copy, scrape, harvest or republish Listings or data, or interfere with the Service or its security;
  • use the Service for fraud, including payment with a card or account you are not entitled to use, or false refund or chargeback claims;
  • abuse promotions, credits or referral codes;
  • post or send anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, obscene or infringing through the Service, including in reports and messages to us;
  • harass Organizers, staff, artists or other users.

5.2 The Community and Content Guidelines apply to anything you submit.

6. Listings and information

6.1 Organizers' content. The Organizer is responsible for the content of its Listing: the date, time, place, line-up, prices, age limit, house rules and images. We do not promise that this content is accurate, complete or up to date, although we act on reports and correct what we find to be wrong.

6.2 Things change. Line-ups, times and venues can change, sometimes on the day. Where Tickets were sold on Layali, the Refund Policy sets out your rights when that happens.

6.3 Listings written by Layali. A Listing marked "Listed by Layali" is a pointer to an Event we found in public sources. It may be wrong or out of date. We show the official link and the date we last checked. Confirm the details with the official source before you make plans, travel or spend money. We correct or remove such a Listing within 24 hours of a credible request. We accept responsibility for our own statements to the extent the law requires, and no further.

6.4 Prices on listings we do not sell. A "from" price on an Organizer listing or a "Listed by Layali" listing is indicative only.

6.5 No advice. Nothing on the Service is advice about your safety, health or the suitability of an Event for you.

7. Buying tickets

When you buy a Ticket, the Ticket Purchase Terms and Refund Policy apply together with these terms. Before you pay we show you the Organizer's name, the price, our service fee, the total, the Event's minimum age and the refund rule.

8. Events: the organizer's responsibility, and yours

8.1 The organizer runs the event. The Organizer and the venue are responsible for the Event itself: permits and licences, the venue and its capacity, safety and security, crowd management, first aid and emergency response, the service of food and drink, compliance with age and alcohol laws, the performers, and the conduct of their staff and contractors. Any claim about the Event itself is a claim against the Organizer.

8.2 Your own responsibility. Going out involves risks that we do not control and cannot remove, including crowds, loud music, lighting effects, alcohol, the behaviour of other people, and travel late at night. By attending an Event you accept responsibility for your own decisions and conduct. In particular you agree that:

  • you will follow the law, the venue's and Organizer's rules, and the instructions of staff and the authorities;
  • you will not bring, use or supply illegal drugs, and you understand that they are illegal in Jordan and dangerous;
  • if you drink, you do so by your own choice and within the law, you watch your drink, and you do not drive under the influence;
  • you look after your belongings;
  • you will tell venue staff or the emergency services (911) at once if you or someone else is unwell or in danger.

8.3 Entry and removal. The Organizer and the venue decide who enters and who is asked to leave, under their rules and the law. The Ticket Purchase Terms explain when that affects a refund.

8.4 Reporting. If something goes wrong at an Event, tell us at support@getlayali.com or through the Report function. We pass serious reports to the Organizer, we may suspend the Organizer, and we cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities. We are not an emergency service.

8.5 This clause describes who is responsible for what. It does not take away any claim you may have against the Organizer, the venue or any other person, or any right you have against us under clause 14.

9. Credits and promotions

9.1 Promotional credits and codes are marketing benefits. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, and can be used only as stated when they are granted (for example a minimum ticket price, one per account, an expiry date).

9.2 We may cancel credits obtained by fraud, multiple accounts or other abuse.

9.3 The Refund Policy explains what happens to credit used on an order that is refunded.

10. Reports, takedown and claims

10.1 Every Event, Organizer and artist page has a Report function. Use it for wrong information, a cancelled Event, a suspected scam, offensive content or any other concern. A person reviews reports, normally within 24 hours.

10.2 If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights (copyright, trade mark, image, privacy or reputation), send a notice to [legal email] with the details listed in the Community and Content Guidelines. We act on valid notices promptly and may remove content while we look into it.

10.3 If you are the organizer of an Event shown as "Listed by Layali", you may claim the page or ask us to remove it. We remove it within 24 hours of a verified request.

10.4 We may remove any content and suspend any account or Organizer where we reasonably believe the law, these terms or the Guidelines have been broken, or where an authority lawfully requires it.

11. Intellectual property

11.1 The Service, its software, design, text, the name "Layali", the logo and our descriptions belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes under these terms.

11.2 Organizers and artists own or control the names, images and text they publish; third-party trade marks belong to their owners. Their appearance on the Service does not mean they sponsor or endorse us.

11.3 If you send us content (a profile picture, a report, feedback), you keep your rights and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to run and improve the Service. You confirm you have the right to send it.

12.1 Payments are processed by licensed payment service providers on their own pages. Your card or wallet details are entered with them, not with us. Their terms apply to the payment.

12.2 Links to an Organizer's site, to ticket sellers other than Layali, to maps or to social media take you to services we do not control. We are not responsible for them.

13. Suspension and closing accounts

13.1 We may suspend or close your account, cancel orders that have not been completed and refuse service where we reasonably believe that you have broken these terms in a serious way, committed fraud, endangered others, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable to do so we tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

13.2 Closing an account does not cancel a valid Ticket for a future Event unless the Ticket was obtained by fraud or in breach of clause 3 or 5, or unless you delete the account yourself after being told that Tickets will be lost.

13.3 You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

14. Our responsibility to you

14.1 What we answer for. We are responsible to you for providing the ticketing service with reasonable care and skill: taking your order and payment correctly, issuing a valid Ticket, applying the Refund Policy, keeping your data as the Privacy Policy and the law require, and dealing with you honestly.

14.2 What the organizer answers for. We are not a party to the contract for admission and we do not operate Events. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the Event itself or for the acts or omissions of the Organizer, the venue, performers, staff, contractors, other attendees or any other third party. This includes cancellation or change of an Event (apart from our duties under the Refund Policy), the quality of the Event, refusal of entry, personal injury, illness, loss or theft of property, and any other harm suffered at, on the way to or from, or in connection with an Event, where that harm was not caused by our own act or omission.

14.3 Limits. Where we are liable to you in connection with a Ticket purchase, our liability is limited to the total amount you paid for the order concerned (ticket price and service fee). For any other claim arising from your use of the Service our total liability is limited to [100 JOD]. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss, or for costs such as travel and accommodation.

14.4 What these limits do not touch. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits:

  • liability for our fraud or gross fault;
  • liability for death or personal injury caused by our own act or omission;
  • liability arising from our own harmful act, to the extent the law does not allow it to be excluded;
  • any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Law or any other mandatory law of Jordan;
  • the Organizer's own liability to you.

14.5 Things outside our control. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as network or power failure, failure of payment systems, acts of authorities, or force majeure. If the Service is unavailable we will work to restore it; we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

14.6 If a court finds any part of this clause unenforceable, the rest applies to the extent the law allows.

15. Your responsibility to us

If you break these terms, commit fraud, or misuse a Ticket or the Service, and we suffer loss as a result (for example a chargeback fee on a payment you disputed in bad faith, or a claim made against us because of content you submitted), you are responsible to us for the loss that your act caused. This clause does not make you responsible for losses caused by us, by the Organizer or by anyone else.

16. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who receives it (including the Organizer of an Event you buy a Ticket to), where it is stored and your rights. We ask for your consent where the law requires it.

17. Changes to these terms

17.1 We may change these terms for good reason: a change in the law, a new feature, a security need, or to make them clearer. We post the new version with its date and version number.

17.2 For a change that reduces your rights or adds to your obligations we tell you in the app or by message at least [14] days before it takes effect, and we ask you to accept it. If you do not accept, you may delete your account; Tickets you already hold remain governed by the version in force when you bought them.

17.3 We keep earlier versions and will send you the version you accepted on request.

18. Law, courts and complaints

18.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

18.2 Talk to us first: support@getlayali.com. We answer complaints within [5] business days and aim to resolve them within [15].

18.3 The courts of [Amman], Jordan have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any right a consumer has under the law to bring a claim before another competent Jordanian court. You may also complain to the Consumer Protection Directorate at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply.

18.4 Nothing in these terms requires you to submit a dispute to arbitration.

19. General

19.1 Language. These terms are made in Arabic. An English version is provided for convenience. If the two differ, the Arabic version prevails.

19.2 Records. We keep an electronic record of the version of these terms you accepted, and when and how you accepted it. You agree that this record may be used as evidence of your acceptance.

19.3 Severability. If a provision is found invalid, the others remain in force.

19.4 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right at once, we may still enforce it later.

19.5 Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations to a company that takes over the Service, provided your rights are not reduced. You may not transfer your account.

19.6 Notices. We send notices in the app, by SMS or WhatsApp to your number, or by email if you gave one. Send notices to us at [legal email] or [address].

19.7 Entire agreement. These terms and the documents named in clause 1.3 are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
